You will be missed MCA

Beastie Boys are the only band that I’ve spent thousands of dollars on their merchandise and albums and the only band that I’ve actually cried for. The only band I can listen to for hours and never get tired of. That’s love.

The other day I had a dream of Adam. In my dream he told me that everything was gonna be okay and to not give up. I was trying to ask him why’d he have to go but he just smiled and said never forget ok? I woke up crying. 

Since Adam’s passing, I’ve heard stories from several fans about dreams very similar to this.

5 months and it still feels like it was yesterday. We miss you Yauch.

I love Mike’s huge fro. I just wanna run my fingers through it one of these days.

I think this song describe exactly how we were/are feeling about his death. Even after you have left us, you still manage to brig us together. We miss you Yaucher. I love you. Thank you for teaching us everything we know.

When my teacher introduced me to the boys last year in April, he told me that they were his favorite band and that he grew up listening to them. When I told him about Adam’s passing he kind of lost it and almost cried. He asked if I was okay and I said yes and asked him if he was. He told me “Lis, how could I be okay when the guy that I practically grew up with died? I just don’t know how to take this.” All I have to say is I respect him a whole lot more now.
